Hi folks, thanks to everyone who took part in #5albums70s2 across both platforms, it’s now time for the results. It’s congratulations to David Bowie who takes the top 2 spots with Hunky Dory and Station To Station respectively. Please see the result chart to follow with the top 20 making the final..

Thanks Richard as always!
Chuffed with top 2.
Shocked at where Roxy Music finished!
I had all five in the top eight. I did say I’d gone for somewhat conventional picks this time around!
Thanks again, Mr S!
Thanks Richard!
The right result! 😍 I was hopeful though looking through the votes that both Hunky and Station would be safely through. Good about Iggy too, shame about Roxy but I think their finest moment is yet to come, and Frank got a few more votes!.. 😉
No loyalty for your own genius?
I swear on the next one I'm going to bombard with my selections every day!
& where is Patti Smith?
There may be a glitch in The Matrix~

I know you've missed my feisty feminist fussing & my Spurs are losing again ⚽
I'm not going to even look for my other four because I don't want to rail on you or have an ugly cry!
Is Bob Seger's Night Moves played every day on every radio station on the BBC?
Richard, Thanks alot.
All 5 in the top 10, quite a result. Doing well with my picks in #5albums70s so far 9/10 success rate.
1) Bowie - Hunky Dory (1)
2) Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here (3)
3) Bowie - Station To Station (2)
4) Who - Who’s Next (7)
5) Kraftwerk - The Man Machine (10)
whoooop!
👍
Great mix of artists and styles
Thanks for your efforts in making this so enjoyable
#5albums70s2
However, the downside is I’ve lost my edge 😂
Meat Loaf, ELO, Stiff Little Fingers, Pink Floyd and Fleetwood Mac and even though we couldn't squeeze Bowie into our 5, it's wonderful to see his albums do so well here.
Again we will wait until Monday to view #5albums70s3 contenders.
I think I’ll just have to accept that you have a stack of Bowie fans following you.
Don’t get me wrong, the first two singles I bought were The Jean Genie and Rebel Rebel. Bowie and Bolan got me into music in the early 70’s.
Surprised Solid Air didn't make the top 10!
*Each to their own. No hard feelings, etc.
Still, I was glad to see the albums I forgot to vote for do so well 😄
Will make more of an effort next time 👍
