Is no one going to touch on how her husband is Paul Kenwood. A director at various companies including british sugar, pride oils, BE international food and others. And is licensed to grow medical canabis in the UK. Lot of Farms in the Atkins household.

The stark reality is that farmers enjoyed (and some will still enjoy) a tax benefit that other family business owners do not. Are they more important and deserving than other family businesses? Clearly they think so.

An ‘elegant’ solution would be if you inherited the land from a parent, and it’s been a family run, working farm for a few generations, then there could be some sort of IHT relief scheme. But, if you bought it for tax avoidance reasons, then you pay double.
