Also this company https://www.fieldless.com/ that I like because they package in cardboard with just a thin plastic liner you can peel off before recycling
Amazing what they can do with vertical farming. It's not that many years since the idea of growing produce during a Canadian winter was seen as a pipe dream. Great to see.
I'm surprised there aren't more greens in Canada grown in 'vertical gardens' or greenhouses. One in Van 10ish yrs ago, on a rooftop downtown, then it vanished. My guess... investors bled it dry. Every fuckwad wants to make zillions off a promising business instead of letting it be a business.
I want to vertical garden greens in my apt... all spring and summer, my windows get full eastern sun all morning. And baskets of cherry toms and lemons, and containers for some root veggies. That's my current dream.
That’s a nice dream.🥬🍅. I hope it comes true. I bought a lemon for my south window. 2 fruits are growing! And a fig on my balcony with ever bearing strawberries. Plus herbs. Every little bit helps!
Every population centre of 100k or larger needs a year-round vertical farming complex to provide fresh, locally grown veggies.
This should be a national program sponsored by the Feds and Provinces.
When i find such a product, i like to take ONE and turn it upside down at the front of the shelf to warn fellow 🇨🇦shoppers and save them time. Pass it on, 🇨🇦
Same! 🍁 My dad was about to get the usual and I switched it out.
Made spinach crepes and it is actually much better - more crisp and stays fresh longer!
