Admitted to a PhD program at Oxford despite decades of people denouncing her sloppiness and outright fraud, sometimes in peer reviewed academic outlets. The resulting PhD thesis was a farce, she completely misunderstood the source material, as was memorably exposed live on air in the book tour.

There were never any reported consequences. Her doctorate wasn't revoked, the person serving as her thesis advisor is fine, so are the thesis committee members. Also the people who admitted a serial fraud in the first place. The main result is that she spreads medical misinformation as "Dr. Wolf".

Naomi Klein was her contemporary at Oxford and has written about how people get them confused. Klein is a legit scholar and writer. She almost HAD to write about the other Naomi so that people might stop mixing them up or conflating the two.
