I love video games, although my 14 yo often is the one to introduce me to them.

TOTK was fun, and my hubby and I played It Takes Two. Right now, I’m playing Grounded. I love the open world plus the 14 yo can join in from the other Xbox.

My kids and I play 'Stardew Valley' together - that's really good fun. My daughter and I both really loved 'Arcade Spirits', 'Unpacking', 'Spiritfarer', 'Speed dating for Ghosts' and 'Coffee Talk'. Oh! And 'Monster Prom'!

I really love the Mass Effect series and Baldur's Gate 3, but not for teens.

We play the video game but we want the board game so much! We're in the UK though and afaik they don't ship over here 😭

Most of those games are really quick - some under 5 hours - so it's easy to get through them 😜

It's a 2-player game in the vein of "honey I shrunk the kids" where the parents are made tiny and have to get through the underbelly of the house and backyard to get back to their daughter. The story is sad, but the gameplay is fun and requires teamwork.

Omigosh - I was soooooo hooked on Zelda TOTK! How far did you get? I got stuck partway through & got distracted by Dungeons Of Eternity in VR, but go back to TOTK now & again because I love just wandering around & flying down from the Sky Islands to explore.

I've explored pretty much everywhere, but have only done about 30% of the story—so lots left to do. I got overwhelmed with the added complexity compared to BOTW and got frustrated, but now I'm back at it. Wandering around is my go-to activity when I'm stressed.

Wandering around in Zelda TOTK is one of my go-to activities when I'm stressed, too! That and mining in Minecraft.

I *love* the building aspect in TOTK. Also, I used to avoid the Depths but have accumulated enough long-range combat know-how that now it's not as stressful. 😀

For Ticket to Ride, you do have to have a segment ready to build at once (5 blues) but not the whole route (5 blues, 2 greens, 3 oranges, 4 yellow). 🚂

For me, board games and video games are not too different from each other, so I play both.

I'm currently rediscovering rhythmn games and trying to get back to playing at the board game club. Perhaps I can rope someone for Cosmic Encounter or what have you.

I played Brass Lancashire for the first time recently - fun thinker.

Board games: This week I played Ziegen Kriegen (a fun little card game with goats 🐐 ), taught some friends Applejack 🍏🐝 and Medina, had a Spades night ♠️, two plays of Texas Showdown 🤠 with different groups, and a few other things.

Playing Disco Elysium, very good, and similar concept of DnD game with role play, *However* definitely not for kids and it’s a Neo-Noir like world, so it’s full of darker themes. Very good and immersive, but more an adult story

I love board games and Steam games! Tokaido is my favorite to introduce to people who claim they don’t like board games since it’s both beautiful and low key. I also just started getting really into Wingspan (bird nerd)
