honestly don't know how any writer who's been copy-edited still has an ego. one second you'll be like "actually that 'mistake' is foreshadowing for time loop #3" and the next you'll realize the manuscript you sent to all your peers and friends contains the phrase "him horses"

Some typos require the document to be printed out. Bone-headed errors need you to have emailed it to the CEO. Truly idiotic foul-ups are invisible until it is in bookstores.
