"We are going to fight for our rural communities. We're gonna fight for farmers, we're gonna fight to stop this family farm tax.

Choosing the wrong side here Lib Dems.
I want you to continue to do what you are the best in the world at doing: E coli, modern slavery, BSE, environmental degradation...
Vote Lib Dem"
I know why Ed's doing this (many of our MPs won rural seats vs the Tories).
But most farms won't pay and it's fairly well targeted at those like Clarkson who bought agricultural land to avoid IHT.
Chat to your Oxfordshire MPs and councillors for background on the #together campaigns
Sums:
Drop stamp duty on modest homes something farmers haven't paid for generations from 250k-125k
+Pensioners fuel allowance
+Farmers IHT after IHT loopholes/life insurance = not much more than day out in city to show up losing party
That puts you on the side of the tax dodgers. Not a good look.
Looking out for the top 1%
How did that 2010 deliberate austerity work out for the country?
Close the loophole that allows the purchase of farmland purely as a means to avoid Inheritance Tax (IHT).
NOT scrapping the tax altogether. We should campaign on this basis, not the nonsense guys , it turns people off
