This is the most "Paris hotel run by an old Parisien couple" that an old Parisien couple ever Parised.
5 storeys of winding narrow wooden stairs to the room included.
I love it.

Walking into the room, the bed was to the right and the bathroom was straight ahead. To the left was a low, slanted ceiling. After a drop of around 3/4 of an inch, it opened up to a small desk, and long thin hallway towards the window.
And crazy well located. I'm about to walk down to the Delacroix museum, then find somewhere to eat, drink and watch the world go by.
I’m out of town today but if you’re bored tomorrow after work, I’d be happy to meet (and show you a bit of town/ have a cuppa)
My only plan for tomorrow is hitting the Army museum. So I'll be around after that.
Just DM me and i'll ping you contact deets. 👍
The museum is really good, and I didn’t expect to like it as much as I did when I went
Enjoy this afternoon, too!
Please update your clichés accordingly.

By the way - if you haven't found it already it looks like you are just round the corner from a lovely restaurant called Le Petit Chatelet - thoroughly recommeded!
To be truly Parisian in my experience (ok, a lot of years ago) the hot tap will emit cold water, the cold tap will splutter and cough and emit brown liquid, the bath will have to drain overnight, and any socket will come out of the wall if you don’t hold it in while removing your plug 😉.
But it wasn't a quarter or half of a floor, like this looks!
We paid a bit more than the rate for the room we were supposed to have. (tl;dr: they put us in someone else's room, and left us alone with those people's luggage.)
One time they gave me my key & I went up, opened the door, and there were two salesmen in there, dressed, each on their beds, watching TV and having coffee. We looked at each other (I could see the fridge I'd paid for) and I said, "I'll tell them you haven't checked out."
That was Toronto!
But.
Does it have shutters too?!
