Right? I mean, it's like conservatives, Republicans have taken what many of us supposed was a bedrock principle of democratic society, that no one is above the law, and thrown it out the window, murdered it, as though it were a political opponent of Mr. Putin. How things change.
And conservatives, Republicans are going after the separation of church (religion) and state, the US Constitution, our heritage of diversity and immigration, our historical alliances. It's like they're intent on perverting, poisoning, polluting the USA, and the majority of Americans want that.
What a sad, unfortunate time we're living through. With Mr. Putin's help for conservatives, Republicans behind the scenes, we're seeing the average American voter for the immoral, egoistic, greedy, violent, personal character-free scoundrel he or she really is. Good times, not.
1. **Article I, Section 3**: This section grants the Senate the power to try impeachments and remove the president from office for "treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors." This implies that the president can be held accountable for unlawful actions.
2. **Article II, Section 4**: This section states that the president, vice president, and all civil officers of the United States shall be removed from office on impeachment for, and conviction of, treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors.
3. **The Rule of Law**: This is fundamental to the Constitution. This principle means that no one, including the president, is above the law. The founders intended to create a system of checks & balances to ensure that all branches of government, inc. the executive branch, are subject to the law.
These provisions and principles collectively ensure that the president is not above the law and can be held accountable for illegal actions. Now, someone needs to explain this to our corrupt #SCOTUS.

I agree but also think they are in a world of their own they can blame and rationalize anything. When Trump destroys everything they’ll just say it is Biden policies coming to roost.
I think the United States, should your democracy still be intact in four years, could view an equivalent of our Australian Electoral Commission (AEC.) and compulsory voting. Ditch that fucking 'electoral college'.
I kinda wish for an Independence Day situation but people are too far gone to come together. I’ll take Bill Pullman over what’s coming. At least he fucking cares about people.
Think about it — everyone we voted for in the last 8 years, Congress, the DOJ, SCOTUS, the lower courts — they all said time & again ‘No one is above the law’ to keep the people calm & docile.
But in reality, they did nothing even when they had the chance.
Insane is where we’re at. Beyond confusing are the supporters of the dear leader
They are to blame for this third election IMO. We know all too well who he is, but no excuses for their stupid loyalty!
It’s sickening how every branch of government is trying to make him a dictator. The overall complicity is terrifying. If the republic survives some serious lessons need to be learned and heeded to ensure it never happens again. I fear for our republic.
I have several immigrant friends who got their citizenships explicitly to vote him out. I am with those who consider him a domestic terrorist: Threatening violence, false incarceration, ripping up the Constitution, where will it stop?!? I fear it won’t.

The Sopranos on steroids!

The magas are finally getting what they want.
There's no hiding behind congress and senate
Let's see what these chucklefucks think in 2 years.
There's always an excuse
