It's a damning indictment, perhaps moreso, on our culture and people.
The lack of accountability in the press and peers was/is horrible.
The apathy so many voters chose was horrible.
The people who voted for such a terrible person are...well, misguided.

I would like to hope that the Dems have a checkmate chess move in store to use that itty bitty ammendment to deny insurrectionists government offices at the Very Last Minute, but I'm not sure my hope .exe is working.

I think it’s also a damning indictment of the Democrats in office that they couldn’t pressure Biden into hiring a strong AG. And they couldn’t use their bully pulpits to make a Trump win unlikely. But their love of bipartisanship (despite its death years ago), made them lose any spine.
