Quite common in Northumberland Andy, mainly later on in my garden. Never caught more than 1 or 2 a night though.

I've got a few species that I haven't seen yet which might be considered tart's ticks (is this term still allowable?). I think it just highlights that species described as common in the books are better described as locally common.

Cherry Bark Moth is one that continues to avoid me despite being reasonably well recorded in Norfolk. I've even got a Cherry Tree in my garden 🤷‍♂️

Definitely. Dark Spectacle certainly isn't common in Leics, or I'd have had one before in 35 years of regular trapping in 4 different gardens.

I got @whetstoneskev.bsky.social to export it to a spreadsheet for me, then I just keep it up to date with anything I've added. Don't think anyone else is regularly trapping here at the moment, but it has been well trapped in the past as it includes Martinshaw Wood.

Love a Dark Spectacle, not had one this year though. Look forward to the Pug, here’s my odd one, thought it was Grey but a bit odd, ObsIdentify says 98% Shaded but that didn’t look right either 🤷🏻‍♀️

Pretty sure my pug is Grey, but it's bigger than usual, c24mm wingspan.
