If NATO boosts defense spending even slightly toward Russia’s level, Putin will be deterred, NATO chief Mark Rutte told Bild.
Russia spends 10% of national income on defense, but NATO’s collective economy is 20 times larger—if members exceed the 2% target, Russia can't keep up.

For exemple, seizing and auctioning the ships responsible for the damages to the undersea cables, deploying support troops in Ukraine, pressure on occupation forces in Transnistria or Georgia (...)
Putin said he would crush Ukraine in days.
They stand strong three YEARS later.
They are phenomenal! They deserve peace, and a chance to rebuild what was taken from them.
Ukraine could be a good mentor on this.

But NATO has no backbone and no balls... They will always just sit there and make big speeches, as Mr Rutte is a master at doing!
#NATO2.0
so many ifs and buts but what is your REALISTIC plan for stopping russia?
putin does not care about money, money is a game he has won long ago.
he will destroy your world and then just die and you'll be left holding the bag.
another NATO weakling.
Disappointed once again.
They all seem to lack having a backbone.
But Europe has to be willing to USE those weapons
Too many European nations think Ukraine should cede territory
How many others are they willing to sacrifice in the name of “peace”?
Western European countries can't afford a war.
They're way to much in debt.
Any blow to their economy would be suicidal.
Hence, they do anything to prevent that scenario.
But they’ve failed to deliver promised weapons to Ukraine &haven’t boosted defense spending. 3 years.....
NATO ground air-defense at critical sites (not on front).
NATO troops on border with Belarus and defense of Odesa region.
NATO logistics and training in Ukraine.

Are you pidota?
Not sure we want to completely follow that model.
Certainly 5% from all European States is more than enough to overwhelm them.
Some haven't realized yet that they're under attack. Others are already under the influence of autocratic forces, be they domestic or foreign.
Then defeat it again, just to be sure.
Not by pretending you will defeat them in the future.
Helping Ukraine win is a far more efficient use of our money, and better for Ukraine
