The real problem is if you look into it you see that Norway offered up a price ceiling before and after the war but the EU votes no on it. Even by some who enjoyed cheap russian gas during the other two invasions russian did. There are no winners here but a lot of blame to go around.

Not as obvious war profiteering as looted gold deposited in Switzerland during WW2. At least Norwegians have some conscience. Biden sold out huge US oil reserves when prices doubled. Then bought back when prices dropped. American war profiteering is also something that is not well known.

The 35 billion was already used up, and EU gonna use €800 billion. So even Støre understood that he had to rise, but he says this is enough. But most parties want another rise when budget is adjusted in June.
