I have this casual theory that if you were often called "intimidating" or something similar when growing up presenting as a girl, there's a high chance you were later diagnosed with some form of neurodiversity.

I got my ASD officially diagnosed last year
And that's just not the meaning of the word. I wasn't making people timid; I was making them hostile. This is, of course, the exact kind of objection that made me so "intimidating".
'Talks too much,' 'Won't sit still,' etc.
