This game had the curse of releasing right before the MCU butchered its style of comedy and quips, so now new people playing the game for the first time will play a few levels and leave due to being under the impression that it's MCU humor 😭
I was just thinking it unironically would be cool to have videos playing on the bottom when playing emulation or GBA games but after reading this I don’t know how I feel. Is it different to be playing the game while the show is background noise or is my attention span regressing?
No opinion on Uprising, but I'd like to take this opportunity to say that Pit's bishiefied Brawl design is lame and his doofy NES design with the giant head was better.
The ground segments in Kid Icarus Uprising are just "what if Sakurai made a GunGrave game" and I'm actually quite a big fan of those segments in particular.
Like those story tiktoks that have a split screen playing a minecraft video. I love kid icarus in concept, but I actually cannot pay attention to dialog and do a fps at the same time 😞
