Rick, I promise I will read the document (you know I will.. 😄), but please can I ask when you say “Advisory Committee” do you mean IAGs? There is still a huge misunderstanding and disparity (in my view) on how IAGs are run nationally, and it feels like a wasted opportunity.

Thanks Rick. As I understand it, Macpherson encouraged the use of IAGs to ensure affected voices were represented. If they apparently (still) don’t feature nationally in dialogue about reform decades later, it might raise questions about how seriously policing really wants to listen to “outsiders”?

Not sure yet. The Home Sec did say prevention was one of her key priorities. Hopefully the white paper will set out more detail

crime prevention is one of the core 'ARIs' in the P-ACE criteria, so I think is will a core focus?
