since I was 17, I've owned 5 FDM printers and 4 resin printers. I've troubleshooted just about every single 3D printing issue you could imagine having. I've had thousands of combined hours of print time, and to this day, 3D printers work more consistently than your parent's inkjet printer.

I’m fucking old
Just sold my v3 se for a bambulab which is less tinkery and analog. How do you like them? What are you working with?
If you're using Cura, go to Quality > Bottom layer height and set to 0.28mm. Thicker sticks better, but at the tradeoff of quality
Fuck you HP
Switched to canon color laser, hoping it’s half as stable. I’m a big fan of being able to finally print from my iOS devices wirelessly though.

years now lol. Have cad background. Will play.
If you need a reliable home printer workhorse, spend the money for a color laser with WiFi from brother. The software looks dated but it runs well.
Good luck repairing a modern DRM riddled printer.
