Noodlers makes ink and pens. IMO they're not even GOOD. I have a few from like I say 9yrs ago or so, & I’m always afraid to use them or post pictures with them when I use them for letter practice. The ones I have are good for calligraphy practice cause they’re fex nibs, but yeah with everything coming out & transpiring over the years, I can’t post them.

Yeah they're what everybody says to start with for flex. I'm glad I learned before i bought one. I'm not sure I'd have liked it anyway given what I've heard... I probably just want to get a falcon down the road.

Sorry they are flex nibs. Wow brain is still very loopy today. Like the flex nibs are good when trying to learn a new lettering style and not wanting to keep having to dip my dip pens. I should probably look into new ones, but I don’t know which flex nib pens to try.

I found the flex on these to be FAR superior to the Noodlers nibs (I couldn't get that to flex AT ALL) and (so far) I've not read anything negative about FPR. At $31, I'd call it a reasonably priced entry level pen but the sale price right now is excellent.

This is not, btw, the only things the guy's ever done that I don't love, but these events crossed a line even for more right leaning folks. The fountain pen hobby is very diverse in viewpoints. We only agree that writing is nice. Everything else is anybody's guess.

Well now I feel like the door is open for mentioning some. Iroshizuku Shin-Kai has some nice luminosity to it and Diamine Silent Night has a deep character; quite dark and velvety.

I just ordered one from Taccia that I'm extremely excited about and will have to report back.

Most vendors sell them and the price is right. I'm not blaming anybody. Especially not now that he's changed a lot of names, which was the right thing to do, but he's still the same old him. Like a racist uncle learning to behave in public.
