Republican senators confirmed more than a dozen Trump judicial nominees after Trump lost the 2020 election & before Biden took office. One of them was Judge Aileen Cannon.

If we could have ONE prominent radical left judge on the bench writing seriously left opinions, I would love it. What we are getting is a bunch of normal-ass middle of the road lawyers turned normal-ass middle of the road judges.
Which, look, is better than right-wing ideologues! And to tell the truth, what I would really want out of a judiciary. But being as it is, can we get one Marxist to balance out all the Kacsmaryk types?
"You know the thing we're transparently and loudly doing? No it's the other guys doing that and you should be mad at them."
- GOP politics, and somehow this dumb shit fucking works
Rumor has it that Aileen Cannon is the backup choice for AG after Gaetz goes down the tubes. Loyalty is all that matters to the Don. That will give Trump another vacancy to fill on the federal district court in Florida. #hangElonMusk #MorningJoe
That rumor was wrong. Pam Bondi is another Florida person loyal to The Don (as he is known in New York). The entire country is becoming Florida. What a country!
It’s pointless to scoff at how inconsistent these positions are.
McConnell told us straight up with Supreme Court appointments: “we’re gonna break rules & norms to win”. Also, “We’re going to make a stink about them to keep you from winning”
I swear to fucking god if the Dems wuss out on this they can all fuck off forever. I've never donated to campaigns before, but I'll give to anyone willing to fight that primaries them.

I'm sick of him already.

Rules mattering is contingent on winning.
