It interesting that for years countries like Malta and Cyprus sold high end properties to Russians and with it a qualification for them and their families to have Cypriot or Maltese citizenship and be able to move freely in the EU.

Don’t tell anyone, but this is very close to how banking has worked for centuries. Fractional reserve banking means that every time someone takes a loan or mortgage, money is literally invented.

Seen a fair few reports about this. No one wonder Putin is trying for one last push in Ukraine, his war is unsustainable and it can't be maintained. North Korean Troops are a sign of how bad the Russian Army is.

Russia, like all dictatorships, works by projecting an aura of power and strength.
Everything from military parade, to olympic medals to economic data is used to create a facade of omnipotence.
In reality, they are all weak, hollow, corrupt regimes built on a tower of lies.

I have a Peruvian 1,000,000 inti note from before they fully changed to the Sol. So technically I’m a millionaire but only in worthless currency. At the time (1992) it was worth one Sol, the Sol was tied to the US Dollar and one Sol equalled one Dollar. 🤯
