I was in Washington that day for Obama's Inauguration, finishing up a rescue transport and heading back. It was 8 effing degrees at 9 that morning in 2009, with wind. And you had to be there hella early to be in place by noon. So FTS. He's a dirty snowflake. #boohoo

I was just in Seattle working that day, but as I was getting on the bus to go home, the energy in the city was calm and joyful. I remember that feeling. So different from the overwhelming anxiety and disgust I’m feeling now.
