IOWA Rep. Adam zabner says Trump and the Republicans are cutting taxes for the rich at the expense of the poor and middle class, and they donβt on the state level also. (π― Tennesseans can attest)

Kentucky changed to a flat tax system in 2018. Tax brackets ranged from 2%-6% prior to the change. Now, everyone pays 4%. So effectively, the poorer lowest earners see 2% tax hike while the wealthier highest earners receive a 2% tax cut.
We need more like Adam who are looking out for their constituents, not bowing to the Russian Operatives in the House! As an Iowa native I am terribly disappointed in their support of fascism. Give 'em hell Adam!
Rs bill cuts Medicaid for 20% of Tennessee residents. Thats over 1 million people who will lose their healthcare. All so billionaires can become richer.
Does Ohio even have State tax? I know TN does not. Ohio does not have a corporate income tax but does levy a state gross receipts tax. Ohio has a 5.75 percent state sales tax rate and an average combined state and local sales tax rate of 7.24 percent. When they actually have a State tax, call me.
Why? So you think your voices will be heard? Reps will just turn around and laugh at you for thinking they are going to change their ways. They vote as a party to propel their agenda. You can see that will the Biden border bill and now the Billionaire tax cut bill and project 2025.
I hope he misspoke when he said a Democrat proposed an amendment to not cut taxes for anyone who made over $100,000,000.00 a year. That sounds more like what a Republican would do.
To NOT cut taxes on those making $100M. In other words, if you make $100M, you do NOT get a tax break. That's taxing the rich. That doesn't sound republican to me? Did I mishear it?
This has been an absolute fire hose of news. I certainly misunderstand my fair share. I'm glad conversation here is mostly civil so we can help catch each other and keep it all straight.
And the funny thing is, farmers are middle or lower class.
They don't make a lot of money unless they sell their livelihoods.
But in Iowa it's all about farmers, ad long as you are a corporate farmer that is.

This should be their wake up call but so long as they got their beer and ciggies they are fine.
Sincerely,
An Iowan
What do they call that?
Congratulation, Adam! But good on him for saying it out loud at an official meeting, like.
I guess I can't listen to videos and the TV together any more. Getting old sucks.
I'll delete.
