But the worst things I’ve lived through did not make me harsh. They made me kinder, softer, more radically loving—defiantly so.
All the worst things never defined me. They don’t define you either.
Know that it matters, that it heals more than you might realize. Because a kind word at the right moment is its own magick, its own spell.
Use it. And remember your own power.
