Really good news - the spectre of 100% religious selection in state schools has been exorcised! But wouldn’t it be lovely if our state schools were all completely inclusive and non-discriminating - welcoming those of all religions & none.

Cause for celebration! The Govt has announced it will keep the 50% cap on faith-based admissions in new free schools in England.
Next step: making sure this cap applies to *ALL* new schools. @humanists.uk wants to see a wholly inclusive education system.

The world does not need a conflation of the Abrahamic and non-Abrahamic faiths. It needs a simple essence to follow on which all can agree.
