I've never done goals before (and still not clear on what they're for other than adding pressure to my leisure activity) so I gave myself a modest goal of 20 books and I'm at 10 (not counting the DNF) So I think I should crush this. 💪

How is anyone able to read ten books in a month? Genuine question. My boss told me he reads 365 a year, but a lot of his are short stories and plays. Is that the only way?

I've seen a lot of people who hit the big numbers reading comic books and children's books. I certainly read books with my kids, but it's never occurred to me to add the books I read to them in. I read some manga, and that bulks up my numbers a bit.

I don't watch much tv and I read 3/4 hours every evening. Also my commute is 40 minutes so a few of those were audiobooks. The books I read average around 400 pages.

Also helps that I work in a library 😅
