Probably very of the time, but a great album. I was thinking about this era the other day. I mainly played downbeat (trip hop) when I was learning to mix 30 years ago, and I opened a mixtape with what I think is the opening track on this one

Opening is 49 seconds of a man saying “F… my wife” a lot.

Then follows an instrumental track that wouldn’t sound out of place on a PlayStation menu screen of the period.

And the salvaging is my ‘taking a punt criteria’. If it’s good it stays in the house. If not, I record the tracks I like and banish it to the shed😄
