Someone spilled my last box of wooden matches all over the inside of my car months ago and I'm still finding them randomly. I have no striker for them now, but I found some rocks work 😌
As a kid I would take those little hotel matchbooks outside because I liked how the whole thing worked and the smell of the match was always my favorite.
And I learned from Horrible Histories that women used to dye their hair with that stuff, as well as with TNT, which is where the term “bombshell” comes from. This has been another useless fact!
