Hope is the anchor that ties us to the depths of our despair. Relinquish hope and surrender the notion that any of this will be *anything* other than what it is. The only thing you can control is yourself and the inside of your head, just breathe
I’ve been doing the same thing…I’m trying to take steps that every time I feel defeated I think about the other times I felt defeated and how I still made accomplishments…so I celebrate that and try to speak more positivity. Easier said than done but it’s a step.
It’s so difficult because the way folks are acting is designed to create hopelessness and despair. I hope it’s some comfort that you are reacting this way because of your goodness and kindness and care for others. I hope you are filled up and cared on to remind you that there is a reason to hope 🫶🏾
