Without steadfast US commitment NATO becomes something of a liability. It makes no sense to arrange your forces in a way that so highly depends on an unreliable ally.

This coalition is the right direction for Canada (in addition for Europe as well). And in terms of the often glacial pace that Euro and Canadian politics and bureaucracy can take place at this is coming together at lightning quick speed. People need to let politicians know this is the right call

i truly hope it will soon be former NATO. under US leadership NATO failed spectacularly. the extortion tool of America has to be dismantled and a new alliance with allies not 5000 miles away should be formed. even under Biden, America’s grip on NATO only caused pain, misery and deaths.
