Of course, besides climate change, atmospheric circulation, i.e. the large-scale weather pattern, also favoured heat in Lapland.

This has already been documented for long-term warming (https://www.nature.com/articles/s41586-023-06176-4) but we extended it to the level of a single summer.
Our results suggest otherwise.
