Sawflies are such underrated cuties. I haven’t been able to spot an adult yet, but I just love the larvae to death

The D. abnormis isn’t a first but prob my luckiest species at under 20 observations, I correctly IDed it but only bc it’s the only member of its genus that eats Amelanchier supposedly
Last sawfly I saw was a birch sawfly like 4 years ago
