I've never seen it in Canada, but it's a tradition in Italy to have lunch and fly the Italian flag when the roof of a building is finished.

The huge project at Lorimer and Grand also had them too, and it had a mystery flag. I wonder if it was by the same GC? Or this is just spreading here? Or it’s everywhere and I just have never noticed?
