Make sure you don't install unsafe software on your devices... etc. Don't ever trust any government or private entity with your sensitive data. Having worked in IT for telecoms back in the 1980's, let me suggest a fundamental redesign of the entire system. Existing telephony and cellular systems are inherently insecure as a matter of design. Redesign them to eliminate law enforcement backdoor technology. It's a poison pill.

We actually just wrote an article on cybersecurity. Use unique, strong passwords for every account. Enable multi-factor authentication. Regularly update software and devices. Avoid public Wi-Fi for sensitive tasks. Back up data frequently. Verify links before clicking. Be careful with your info!
