Paradoxically, to my old ears, the Europe position isn't too far from that of the 70's left luminaries, Peter shore & Barbara castle.
Tax Rates of 47, 42, 25 percent with Employee NI rate 3%
Abolish 2% rate
If I got it right this raises £14 billion
pensioners would have to be protected but this would still be a substantial revenue rise and "workers" not affected
Why not?
