I’m not saying the new Monster Manual changed the beholder fly speed from 20ft (2014) to 40ft (2024) because I regularly whined about it… but I’ll take credit.

At 20ft it’s basically unable to run away at 40ft it’s a potential chase (or trap).

Also the new 5ft “walk” speed is hilarious.
