Another reason to boycott Starbucks: today's layoffs gutted key infrastructure engineering teams--the folks who know all the internal systems & how to fix them--& eliminated the internal help desk. Functions will be outsourced, employees apparently are to train replacements per severance agreement.

There's a lot of context as to why this all pisses me off. I've avoided Sbux since leaving in 2017. But this is stupidly low even for them.
