I could never remember the git commands beyond commit/push/pull, but I find that chatGPT is very good at helping me with it whenever I need

https://learngitbranching.js.org is amazing. I used it years ago and it really helped me get my head around what git was doing and I’ve recommended it to a ton of folk since then. One of the best git resources out there.

Vscode wraps around the commands to make it much easier and visual. In an earlier time I used magit in emacs which is also amazing
