I feel like obesity in wildcats owned as pets is becoming a huge issue. These animals need to be able to run and play all day every day and have outdoor space to run, they can't just be housecatted and expected to live a long and healthy life.
Out of all the wildcats I've seen owned as pets on social media, I know of FOUR that are healthy and happy animals.
Chloe The Serval, Luna panthera, Messi the puma, and Gerda the cheetah.
Each of these owners have two common denominators:
1. No overfeeding
2. They let them outside
That is a baby one, it should not be in someones house unless it's been rescued for some reason and then it should be reintroduced to the wild as soon as possible because that is where all wild animals belong - never ever put them in zoos etc
