Here's the sad follow up to the story of this #LakeDistrict #TrigPoint. We visited it again in 2015 and someone had pushed it sideways. Curiously it was still, sort of, upright.

We've not been up Crag Hill in a long time. Does anyone know if it has been restored?

I went to look in my photos but couldn't identify Crag Hill. I have Crag Fell above Ennerdale Water (Wainwright 7/26) but it doesn't seem to have a trig point. Is your Crag Hill a Wainwright under another name?

It's a shame, it was a good looking trig point. Hopefully it's been restored. We'll have to add it to the list of places to re-visit and take a look.

I'd like to think that if the OS knows/knew about it they would have rebuilt it.
