The only thing I would question there is what usefulness capitalism has ever provided. Every time I ask, the only answers I get are about either mercantilism or socialism.
Capitalism was a huge improvement over serfdom. Here's one simple example: you can legally move somewhere else. I'm not just talking a different country or state, I'm talking a different apartment in the same town.

It's also too often forgotten that Dr. King was a socialist, knowing that in order to achieve true racial solidarity, the working class as a whole needed to stand in solidarity against the lies spread by the owning class, intended to divide us.
