Oh the digest food is freaking real. I have undiagnosed gastroparesis (though I've been diagnosed with GERD) that flares up hard under stress and panic/ptsd episodes, and I feel that. I haven't had an episode in awhile, but it was a struggle for nearly a year of even eating anything.

So, mine was caused by my living situation, trauma, and brief living instability (due to having to live in a couple different places for a little bit). Once things stabilized and I was no longer in a state of constant anxiety and was able to settled down, the attacks significantly died down.

I'm able to drink and eat things I wasn't able to in a long time, which admittedly has had me get back to bad eating and drinking habits again, buuuut the plus side is I rarely have severe attacks anymore, and at worst, minor discomfort. Still deal with GERD stuff though.

I was diagnosed with gastroparesis a little over a year and a half ago too, had to extremely limit my diet and be on proton pump inhibitors just to be able to eat
