I feel the same way about Obi-wan's and Anakin's duel on Mustafa in Revenge of the Sith. No stakes. We know who's going to win. Beautiful choreography, though.

Apparently, that scene was actually directed by Steven Spielberg. Lucas let him experiment with a digital storyboarding technology by planning that scene, with the shots, camera angles, etc. I think it works in spite of us knowing the outcome because it matters to the characters and the plot.

Yeah, we know Obi Wan will win and Anakin will be horribly damaged, but how will that happen? We've heard what the outcome was, so seeing it is interesting. Plus, it's so very emotional to both of them (and the actors killed it). It's critical to the story arc, so you couldn't cut that scene.

My grandson brought a PlayStation64 to our house, when he was in elementary school & I was lucky to get a 3 pack of SW games off EBay including the Pod Racing with most of the tracks opened. It is a fun game, but I usually crash on the harder tracks.
