Fossil records are incredibly robust, but even if they did not exist - even if we never found a single fossil - evolution would still be discovered. The greatest evidences for evolution do not rely on fossils.

There’s nothing wrong with not understanding science, no one’s asking you to be a professor. And all I did was ask for a source, then show you why your half-remembered quote was wrong.
