Your daily reminder: ChatGPT is not a search engine. It does not "know" anything: it smashes words together in plausible sounding way, but it does not have (and never will have) any ability to check whether something is true or false
Using it for anything beyond "re-word this headline" = failure

ChatGPT has had to apologise many times for fibs and falsehoods, eg misattributions and fabricated citations.
"I'm sorry, I won't do it again!"

(I don't want to throw @mojeek.bsky.social under the bus here, because as an independent search engine but it's a fantastic alternative to Google, but its AI summary is... not quite accurate.)
(General, not just for this AI)
Which is enough for me to therefore avoid it (plus all the other things)
You just can't trust it even a little.
I use it for summarizing research papers often.
A single properly worded query can save hours of googling and forum diving..
This is what you are looking for. It provides sources you can verify.
Honestly: if it can't handle the possibility "there are more than one Ketan Joshi's in the world", it shouldn't be your search engine

And search engines always have some problems with multiple public figures with identical name.
All search engines do this. You need to provide more context, even then verify what it provides.
I have no idea what your expectations are here.
My expectation here is: "search engine shouldn't actively misinform millions of people daily"
"Justin Mikulka is a journalist, writer, and environmental researcher, known for his investigative work related to the coal industry,"
Except I've never written about the coal industry.
So I decided to ask ChatGPT for a list of 5 letter words with no vowels and containing the letter Y.
Chat GPT confidently sent me a list of words all containing vowels
Chat GPT apologised and sent another list of 5 letter words with vowels 😂🫠
Whatever you save using it, you lose 10, 100x more in our trust in your work and your truthfulness.
(the renewable things is particularly bad)
Given the amount of money thrown at it at the moment I highly doubt there will be a lack of creativity deployed by their developers in solving this.
Should you query a search engine and not find what you wants, would you stop using them all?
And internet as a whole - including reputable press…
Critical thinking is not optional, and it’s not because that answer is written authoritatively by a tool that it should not be checked.
In my job, I do better to have a saved document of boilerplate code to copy-paste. Easier and faster.
