my sister was on the train TJ delayed with his "that woman is a terrorist because she's muslim" horseshit. This DOES make me like reynolds more, unfortunately. Against my better judgement, but it does.
I used to work at a store where TJ Miller was a regular. Unfortunately, he was incredibly nice, learned employee names, and chatted for a long while every time he came in.
It would be a better story if he was rude or whatever.
i knew him in a past life and he was both incredibly fun to be around and the guy that got later cancelled. also basically breathed through a nitrous canister.
I was a big fan of his before all the nasty stuff came out and he performed at the comedy club I worked at, my managers set me up with a little meet and greet and he was SO NICE and gave me a bunch of free signed merch lmao. Def sucks to have that memory tainted now smh
I can't even say he's wrong about stuff, he's just a really boring, generic guy who makes zero calorie entertainment. But he has now proven to have at least one good instinct.
He’s right when it comes to money and never doing anything outside of his comfort zone. That’s definitely what frustrates me about him, he has the clout and power to get awesome movies made but he chooses the check everytime. It’s “art” through a CEO’s eyes.
I had a realization during a recent rewatch of The Nice Guys that Ryan Gosling is everything Ryan Reynolds wants to be but he lacks the talent and natural charm.
Reynolds wants to be Gosling but lacks the charm and talent. Gosling is just effortlessly funny and charming whereas Reynolds has to try so, so hard but still comes up short.
I think it's good how supportive he is of his wife, especially with this baldoni stuff. Say what you will about them on set or in interviews but it's nice to see someone stand by their partner through bad shit for a change.

And it just so happened that, this time, he was correct to do so.
It would be a better story if he was rude or whatever.
