The paradoxcial reality is that I almost always have to do something to feel less overwhelmed. I have to talk to a friend or therapist. I have to take my meds. I have to go outside and look at the sun. I have to journal. I have to cook something fresh.

i try to remind myself of that. Sometimes it takes a few minutes, sometimes a few hours, sometimes a few days, sometimes a few weeks. A few times, it's taken me months.
