Especially those long term stays or ones who needed lots of care. Seeing them living the life they deserve, when you’ve come to really know the pet, is why we do it. 🥰
I had 2 kittens that I named Lucy and Ethel. Lucy turned into Ricky (Fred wasn't an option) when I realized my initial error, but Ethel is doing fine after just turning 15 this month. Sadly, Ricky passed away a few years ago.
The cats keep showing up in my feed. It comes as a surprise but amidst all the doom it is it is the only content that gives me some peace of mind 😂. I will not try to block it.
Sweet babies. So thankful to the family that accepted these beauties into their home and hearts. Btw, Caroleeena, I posted pics earlier of the kittens -- 8.5 months! Notice in the family shot that Mama Luanne is the only one sleeping, lol. We still truly miss Baby Aurora. I will never forget her.
I love that they have a home. Also love the names Toast and Beans. I had a rescue name Pizza that started cats being named after food. Anchovy and Mango Cheese cake aka Cheese.

As in they could only give them up if they did not care.
One of the great comedy duos?
Lucy and Ethyl are ideal names for cat duos.
This is a photo of two of my foster kittens, Poppy and Daisy, one week after they were adopted together.
