About to use two computers on my desk at the same time. I give it 2 minutes before I become confused as to which one is connected to the keyboard and mouse.

Just get a KVM switch and push a button to swap between the two machines. Alternatively, if both machines use Windows, PowerToys has a utility that allows you to control both machines with one set of peripherals (if they're on the same LAN and your security policies allow that)
My wish is to have eye tracking software on a KVM switch that directs the mouse and keyboard input to the computer connected to the screen I happen to be looking at.
You can install something like Input Director and go with that. :| Use one keyboard and one mouse and that's it. It treats multiple PCs as if they are just different monitors.
