I try to remain optimistic about my books. I’m a realist though, and because I am, I know I’m small potatoes. But man, I just received my latest statement from D&O and man, the discouragement is real. I HAVE to find a new way to market books.

I feel you. Best advice I ever got was i asked a young indie author how the h—l her latest was selling so much & she said, “I really don’t know! It’s so hard, right? one thing I did was send a newsletter out to my 20,000 subscribers” & I was like gee, why didn’t I think of that! #killmenow
I wonder if more in-person stuff, cons and such, are the way to connect with readers more? That said, they almost have to be local or travel costs will break ya!
Yeah, I don’t know the answer. I don’t expect anyone to give it to me either. I just know readers aren’t picking up Bishop Rider books. All good, though. I’ll survive.

Because same. This job hunting sucks and I gotta push the books a little harder.
😂
I'm leaning toward kidnapping and ransom these days.
Or at least kidnapping and making them do a Goodreads review or something. 😅
I wish you some greater success!
