my old ass does it still its super fun just make sure to go at your comfort its too easy to push yourself too hard when you get back in to it and get hurt. takes about 4 sessions for your body to relearn most of the technique imho.
honestly, as someone who stopped for a long time, take it slow and gradual and just let your body get accustomed to all the movements and balance. also, you probably lost some skateboard specific muscle control. it does come back with time.
